Early 2011,my mom, dad and I left UK to Darussalam.Inspired by UK food trend,mom and dad have created their homemade recipes which cannot be found in any retail store,bringing some of those comfort food you have tasted in UK. the idea was not only to bring back those memories and those tingling,buzzing,exciting taste but also to introduce something new to the peopleof Brunei.
By the end of June 2011, they opened up a 'pondok' in front of their house known as 'Babu's corner' as their stepping-stone.
They pride themselves ny their homemade products from Pita-bread,Wraps,Pickled Chillies and other recipes they created.They were all made from 100% Halal products supplied by Certified Halal suppliers in Brunei.
Ever since they have introduced their recipes, ex-londoners started coming to their 'pondok'.
It is one of the sought after products in their menu. Not just ex-londoners but also poeple from all walks of life.
In March 2012, a restaurant named BAYSWATER is introduced in Brunei.
